Kudo's on the post about "space jousting" m8. I find some of the alien ships a bit easier to target than others...the bombers are easier than the light fighters to target because they don't move around so much. By fighting those hostile aliens you really start to figure out their tactics pretty well. Of course, I'll keep trying. Wish me luck.

One overwhelming advantage these hostile alien fighters have is their excellent targeting ability. They don't miss very often, especially at close range, where they are LETHAL. Also, fighting them takes a long time, so make sure your beer mug is full...you'll need it.

I'd much rather take it from them though, so I will keep you informed with my progress.

It takes a great amount of patience at first to overcome the stacked odds against you. But persistence is vital for success. I relied on evasion as a important tactic in surviving the IC systems originally, and it is still a part of my com…

Brett...one more very important piece of advice...always create a savegame BEFORE you enter the Inner Core, and good luck! Also, a piece of advice I got from SA Forlon...try and make it to Weth then land at a safe base reload bats/bots, then re-enter Ryssk, stay near the jumpgate, and prepare to break open that can of WHOOP-ASS!
