I agree. And it's probably too late, but I was thinking that more than one variety of BS Defense turret would be nice. I like the ones we have now, don't get me wrong, but like pcforce said, it would be nice to have a bit more flexibility. I don't understand what the big deal is. The battleships, cruisers, and gunboats were underpowered in the first place. An entire broadside from a battleship isn't enough to cause hull damage to most VHFs; generaly speaking in RL, ships of any size take down aircraft with one or two shots. How are capships supposed to be an appealing option if they're on par with manueverable fighters in firepower (no offense meant; they're still awesome as is)? There's no doubt of this in my mind that this is spam, but I can't help myself. We're off topic at this point anyway. Shados, I hate to break the bad news to you, but I have succeeded in sinking foam boards on a number of occasions. How, you may ask? A few questions... Will the Coalition offer missions? How about the Order? Can you take missions against the Nomads, Dom'kavash, ASF, and CSF? Will they show on rep lists as well (the factions that aren't yet)? And what you said about your char in your last post, does that mean we can all go talk to your NPC stunt-double (if so, you should tell people to take thier questions to him to lighten your workload )? I was wondering, now that this project is coming into its final stages, how about tossing us a summary of the mod's new features? There's so much to take in; I, for one, find that even after the hour+ experience of reading the whole thread, it's still a bit too much to comprehend all at once. What's the story to this mod; what are the new features (vaguely speaking)? Or do you want to surprise us and let each of us figure out on our own? If it's not possible for one player to encounter them and live, then how likely would 2 people be to survive? I bet taking them on solo is possible, just an incredibly bad idea . I was wondering, do they drop something equivelent to escape pods when they are killed? (btw, if they're that tough, then it's going to be hard to make passage through systems inhabited by them. Are those systems inhabited by Dom'Kavash wedged between important systems like the IWs surrounding Liberty?)

I was thinking, wouldn't it be a good feature to have clansystem defenses? I know Custodian has a minefield, but it really doesn't accomplish anything. None of the other clansystems have defenses at all. Wouldn't it make sense to have some sort of weapons system to guard jh and jg into these systems (or at least the bases, if that isn't possible)? Maybe giving the clan-owned stations battleship defense turrets would help... Just some ideas.
