Well no surprise in the first game tonight with the draw between Italy v Croatia. Good tactical game played by both teams, a draw the fair result methinks. Just sat through the Spain v Ireland game. Felt sorry for the Irish in the end, but with no real inventive player in the Irish ranks, it was only a matter of time before somebody gave them a good slap, and Spain were there tonight to do it. Getting setup for tonights round of games, Ukraine v France and of course Sweden v England. Here's my prediction for tonight for the first game, 2-2 and then England winning 2-1. Let's see what happens

Sweden had their chances, not just in last night's game but the first one as well against Ukraine, so they have only themselves to blame. Meanwhile we march on. On the menu for tonight we have CZECH v POLAND, that should be a good game, looking forward to that. Other one is GREECE V RUSSIA. Think that will be a slaughter but will just have to see. What drama. i didn't see that coming. Czech Republic and Greece qualify from group A to get to the quarter finals! Russians must be choking on their borscht right now. Couldn't see Poland qualifying as they simply weren't good enough through the whole tournament. Congratulations to the two teams that made it!

The strange thing about today, after reading about what could happen depending on how the matches end up, my favourite has to be Croatia beating Spain and Italy beating Republic of Ireland as that would mean Spain are out would you believe. Hurts to type this but we were utter rubbish, like you said, France in disguise. The better team clearly won and well done Italy. Not sure they have enough left in the tank to beat Germany, only one way to find out. I can't moan about England too much as nobody really expected us to get this far, so overall i have to be happy with the progress we made.

Well at least we got a game last night, Portugal did try, but they were rubbish in front of goal, especially Ronaldo. Spain didn't have any strikers in the side at all, but at least tried to score. They were the better side towards the end so maybe deserved it. Oh well, let's just hope Germany do the business against Italy and then we will have the two best teams in the tournament in the final, which is maybe how it should be

I'll go for Italy simply because i think they've played the better and more visually exciting football of the tournament so far, with arguably the best goal scored at the Euros by Mario Balotelli in the last game. As for Spain, nobody doubts there class, but they have been incredibly boring to watch, at least from my perspective, and i do hope they will make a go of it in the final. …

Can't argue with last night, well played Spain and congratulations to them. It was a surprisingly good game. Shame the Italians switched off after 60mins as they decided at that point they couldn't win so simply gave up. Oh well. What's next in the world of football? The Olympics lol.
