Interesting choice of ships for the background I noticed someone's name missing from that list though... Definitely an improvement over the old LR page

The red lines in the field background look very nice. But the darkness of the left side of the background pic looks like an oversight until scrolling to the bottom of the page. The spaces between the side columns and the center look unbalanced with such a contrast; if you used a fully-lit background planet pic, the page would be balanced again. But of course, it is a matter of personal taste...
