  • Hm, I sad change because OP said he won't add anything new. Still, dunno, these were just suggestions. Dark Reigns inside the system of the Rogues could be changed as well ("reprogrammed").
  • Is the train warning still active, the one where we're not supposed to use it? Today I did some trade with Soulforge Train between planets with mooring fixture, everything was normal, and the server ran stabile.
  • Tekagi's Fortress base in Tohoku is constantly hostile, even if the char has all factions in the neutral.
  • (Quote from SWAT_OP-R8R) Dunno, all Kusari factions are neutral to me, and still the base displays as red.
  • About the mooring... When mooring on Fort Bush (New York), the lady said to moor on Moor 10, and the train positioned itself, then the HUD normally vanishes for the docking sequence; the train then went in reverse, hit the station which messed with it's direction, but then it corrected itself and moved a bit more in reverse, then stopped - and it wouldn't dock to the end (switch to base interior, even after waiting for quite a while). Is this some sort of a glitch or do I have to wait like long…
  • From what I've seen, when undocking a planet via mooring fixture, there are three animations - reverse-and-left, forward-inside-mooring-fixture and forward-above-mooring-fixture. I might have missed one... When undocking Kyushu from forward-inside-mooring-fixture, the ship sometimes either gets stuck(ish) before the mooring (it hits it) or inside the mooring fixture (you have to wiggle to get out, left and right and thrusters and cruise). Also, there's one of those clan tag buoys inside Hokkaid…
  • Hm, but the train exits in three ways that i've counted... Dunno then. Still, that about Kyushu stands... I can check again later today, make screenies.
  • Mainz Storage Facility in Frankfurt (Abbey class) isn't dockable by Soulforge Train - planet Stulingen is too close and the train can't get into position to moor - it smashes into Stulingen antmosphere. Possible solution: turn the entire station by 180°along it's Z-axis (vertical flip) - that would expose the mooring point toward pl. Holstein.swat-portal.com/forum/wcf/attachment/497/ Also, what I was talking about - Hokkaido clan buoy (pic from thursday).neb_walker3.png firefox 2012-02-09 10-18…
  • A possible fix for mooring fixtures on planets (if possible and/or acceptable) is to make them etheral, i.e. that ships can always go through them (non-solid surface), but that they're still usable and visible... No-clip mode.
  • I think OP meant 500 varieties of commodities, not to decrease cargo in a train. That would make no sense, considering it would be more practical to buy an APC and fly normally, then to mess around in a slow train.
  • Ah... Well, that will suck. Meh, I'll adapt.
  • (Quote from Michael) That would be marginally relevant, if I cared. Just to clarify, I haven't seen a cop do their job other than Wedge[CSF]. And he is a pain in the ass, but that's the RP and that's how it should be. So this procedure is, dock, get 500, undock. Redock, get another 500, then undock. So 10 times to make a load od 5000 cargo of a train?
  • Imo, that sucks. The routes are long enough, random, at times non-existant (I mean for smuggling) and the train quite slow.Outrunning a cop/pirate/merc is near impossible if you have no protection. But, as I said, I'll adapt if necessary.
  • Don't shoot the messengers, but I agree with Diablo, and we're not the only ones who think that way, about the trains.Even setting to 1000 per load would be great, i.m.o.But, as he said, we'll adapt either way.
  • He means the version of the game in the footer of the images is different... it's 1.80 in SP. Is there any way of reducing the effects from the fancy missile smoke to some not-so-fancy smoke effects, without reinstalling?
  • It's also on Featured Releases of September on ModDB.
  • (Quote from Huor) Haha, I love this pic.
