Feel like doing something interesting. Now this model has been around in FL since day one, only seen in Hokkaido iirc, and it's non dockable. Now i've already got past that little problem, next thing i want to do is to have animated doors. I'm thinking of grabbing the whole docking bay with parts from the newer gas miner model and trying to get it to work. So this is what i've done so far... 1. OP, are talking one for the base and one each for the docking areas?

Think i get what you mean now, had a look at the newer gasminer model and that is essentially in three parts, the MAIN model section and then the DOCK1 and DOCK2 sections. Will do the same on the old gasminer and report back
