So I went to install 1.81 ( coming from 1.8 ) and forgot to backup my ID because it is usually preserved in the registry between installs. Apparently the this did not happen and my character doesn't show up when I access the 1.8 server. Does the server log the ID tied to the character account and, if so, would it be possible to get my ID from someone who has access to this kind of information?

Yeah, I was 99.9% sure this wouldn't be possible, I just wanted to check. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the replies. There might be a way for me to fix this though. A few months ago I used a program called Macrium Reflect to completely backup my system. If it allows me to go through the DVD's for files I might be able salvage my old ID (or I can reinstall from those DVD's as a last resort). Thanks especially to OP (for giving me the time) and Ryleous Arkane for the location of the key in the registry.
