Most likely offline tests and changes to server software to get rid of the yet found bugs - at least some of them.

Updates ARE normal, that's one of the reason WHY there is such an updater at all And - with time - the number might even increase.

The updates are necessary EVERY time, since your installed client version stays the same - mostly - and has to be brought to "new standard" every time. Also, it is kinda cheat prevention, since important files are automatically brought to "server standard" and are changed (i.e. commodity prices) for being "in line" with the everyday changing parameters on the server.

I've been watching the delay of the server showing in the list - compared to time of 1.9 - almost since 2.0 started worling for me....Could it be, that there is some kind of problem not with CFbutwith the server from its provider side ? (some.."incompatibilities" between their software and CF/connection software, ... dunno, I'm no IT-man).

Just mentioning : server not in the lis 07:58 CET btw : on updating the launcher loaded "only" 13 files instead of 14 files previouly,that's ok ??

If you start CF 2.0 MP and it doesn't ahow up in the server list, then the server is currently off-line (we are still in a beta/prerelease stage).Also it might take some time for the server to show up. But if after about 10 - 20 sec still not there => see above.
