  • if you start crossfire - there is a small dialog that contains some info about the mod, links, the asf/csf groups and in the lower section tells something about files that are downloaded. Thats the launcher - once it has finished you can join multiplayer - although you can start singleplayer instantly - maybe you just have to get through one update process (just a guess).
  • yeah, if you start FL - does it (FL) just start or are you getting an extra popup window with an download function? Could be that you missed something if you dont get this screen...

  • dunno what you do wrong but for me it seems you are not following the install instructions properly. The downloaded file does not install crossfire as game itself - it just installs the mod to the flmm directory. So if you start FLMM you see the crossfire mod in the list. Then you have to choose this the crossfire client version 1.82 and wait until its activated (the dialog may freez but you should wait till its finished).
