Well it isnt a IP Address like the one that your modem gives off. Its a Microsoft unique Multiplayer Identification. If you lost it then theres no way to recover it unless you saved the one that you were playing on Crossfire with. The only way to get your chars back is for OP to do his thing but like he said, he won't do it.
