I agree - those looks are quite fetching. Knew to expect something new, but this looks very good. The texture has an appearance that could easily be metal, stone, organic, or a combination of these things. It's too bad I'm distracted by subtle things though, my eyes keep drifting back to that eyecandy cursor. Hehehe.

It's all part of the process, hehehe. At least it keeps the topic bumped so that people can find it easily and check for updates. More fun having a scavenger hunt for OP's posts anyway than just having them all laid out in a neat, uninterupted progression ...not to mention all these posts are constant reminders of how eager and pumped up the community is over the project.

Those new textures are great, OP. Big visual enchancement over the prior ones. Nice effect with the fading in that Tarsus nebula by the way, you were right. Having that gradual transition is a lot better than the existing leap from clear space to gas cloud. That reduction in speed seems to make a lot of sense too. A ship would encounter much more drag traveling through a heavier gas rather than through a near-vacuum.

(Quote) It's a lovely system, Tohoku, but there is a lot of open space and nothing exciting to buy at the stations. I don't mind it the way it is, but anything to spruce things up would garner appreciation. I've seen those stations before btw - growth of several of them aside, what is that new lighting effect? It's hard to explain, but there's a very different look to the objects and the change is quite positive.
