  • Dude, check the specs; 2.66 GHz is plenty for a gaming machine, and you likely can OC it another 10-20%. I have a 3.0 GHz machine, with no OC'ing, and it rocks just fine, with a lower bus speed that the one specified above (mine = 800MHz bus, above = 1.33 Ghz bus). My RAM is also slower than that machine, so you will be in great shape for cheap!!

  • Wow, Sev, well done! Same $500 (except for shipping, which is probly free with that big an order anyway), but now includes HDD & PSU! Pawn shop might have something workable, but you'll have to do your homework to find compatible parts, depending on what they have available @ the time. I may have to junk my old comp and spend $500 myself
