If the kills are only recorded between ASF and CSF what does it matter if there are other people around in a contested system so long as they're not engaged? If the other clans and freelancers can't fight they should at least be able to go about business as usuall without taking long detours during fights.

Makes perfect sense to me In responce again to the original post once more, I'm the CSF's official reporter (I know I'm not technically in the faction, but the majority of polled CSF members want to keep me around for things like this anyhow). I would suspect that Amos and I will be covering the events and battles from our perspective whenever possible; we seem to have at least a bit of a knack for journalism and it's great for drawing attention to the RP. Well this is one of the only ways I can possibly contribute, so naturally I'm dissapointed.
