I'm having trouble getting crossfire to launch. Whenever I have any other shader selected other than the "no selection" option, the game does not start up. The logs from the launcher show a error code of "CODE 00000001". When I select the "no selection" option, I can get the game to launch, the cutsences play, and the load screen pops up, but before it gets to the menu the game crashes. No the A drive is separate from my system drive (system drive is the default c), I do delete the my games/freelancer folder each time I tried to reinstall it.

I checked directplay is enabled. I tried to reinstall freelancer and the crossfire mod to the C:\ drive per the suggestion above (each reinstall I delete the freelancer folder form "my games"). I launch the game from the "Launch Crossfire Mod" shortcut which points to Freelancer Crossfire\EXE\Freelancer.exe (I don't see a crossfire.exe).I let the update run on the singleplayer portion. Some further testing I think ISO of Freelancer appears to be OK - I have the "freelancer.exe" fine, there was a mention of a "crossfire.exe" which I don't have.Tried the suggestion of the uninstallers above, uninstalled everything. Ran Freelancer (vanilla) to start, to create the save in my games\freelancer. I have managed to get it to work, between the suggestions here and some testing I'm not exactly sure which step managed to get it to work, but it was working after I:1) Uninstalled Crossfire mod & Freelancer - looked through both the regedit and appdata and deleted and traces of the game2) Installed Freelancer, restarted system3) Installed Crossfire mod - ran installer from local drive (as opposed to network folder which I was doing before), used the default options, restarted system on completi…
