Just retrieved the Nomad power cell, got back to the Omichron system, von Clausen appears, game locks up so solid I have to quit Windows. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this, or experienced this?

this was a fresh install on a new PC. I was playing solo fine, but wanted to replay the mission storyline.I removed the autosave and loaded a previous save (chapter 12, Osiris, Omicron Beta) and it did the same thing. Sad face.

oops at wrong save!If you didn't get the crash, that means it's something with my laptop. Any ideas, or are there any logs I can send that could help?

I set Vanilla FL as shader. Storyline crashed.Went to single player. Went from Ghats Prison in Neophobos, through X3043 where I took out 2 CSF battleships, to Sidewinder Station in Alaska where I got the payment for the 2 Admirals. No crash.I am confused.
