I have the game cd and its in excellent shape. I have a windows 11 pro OS. I can install it but it wont run so I am asking for help. Can anyone tell me how to get it running on my system.

Installed game just fine. Game will not launch, automatically goes to troubleshooter asking if game launched correctly. I respond no (because it didnt do anything) went thru troubleshooter steps, changed compatability mode for windows 98 and win 2K and still game will not launch. All that happenes is I click the launcher icon, and then ot goes to did this gamme launch. I am running game under admin and its installed on an admin account

Update - I inststalled Freelancer HD mod and now runs just fine.
