Hey there Ice cold, The credits in your bank are safe, its the credits on your ship at the time you are taxed that the amount will be calculated. That is also why you must have 65 mil on your ship at all times, Thats to stop players from banking all their creds and leaving F/A for the tax to be based on.Also pirate must wait 1 hour after taxing you to try again.Have a read of the rules in the link that OP put in the post above, A lot of good info in there and well worth the read
