Hey, What is the best way to stop mouse lag? Also, is there any special nvidia settings I should be using? I want the best performance & quality. I have all settings on high & have played around with mouse sensitivity in game. I also want to know which exact exe to use if I do change anything in Nvidia control panel. I have a great system. GTX 980m, intel i7 4910HQ (I think), windows 7. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, so I tried increasing mouse DPI with lower in game mouse sensitivity, & I tried the other way with low DPI & high mouse sensitivity & high DPI with high mouse sensitivity & low DPI low mouse sensitivity. I still get like a slight drag which is quite annoying, any other suggestions? Is there something in the game settings I can change? & how about best performance/game quality? Thanks for that!

This works great now! I used the fix in this thread: How to avoid grafic Problems while playing Freelancer

Also, I turned v-sync off through nvidia control panel using the freelancer.exe in the EXE2 folder that starts once you start freelancer. There's no more annoying mouse lag! Although screen tears can happen but that's not as bad as the mouse lag haha.

Don't worry, I start game through launcher, but once game is open I edit the settings for freelancer.exe through the EXE2 so that nvidia recognises the correct exe to change the settings for.
