Just did the Transport mission (in Normal Mode) now about 5 min for the first part another 4 to 5 min I was back in Chugoku and Docking Kyoto. DeepNoise it appears mate that you had far too much trouble with these fighters. It seems to me you may have missed a Mission Objective at some point - taking so long on those fighters the AI should have aborted before you had to quit.
