i bought a wieght reducer and when i mounted it my armor was dismounted . as i know my armor has to be mounted to work , does the wieght reducer also need to be mounted. or does just buying it make it effective

but don't they reduce the wieght to your components ratherr than your hull i would imagine life support , powerplant,and the other sundry non-hull parts acccount for at least 40% of the total
