I like the idea of an engine upgrade similar to the cloaking device: Go through a series of near impossible tasks to collect 3 unique pieces of equipment before they're "Assembled" and through a hook command, your engine output (speed) is increase 500% for 2 minutes before the system shuts down for 60 minutes and you are unable to use the super engine.
