If there is a lone defender and a system is invaded...he should stay docked. Invasion shouldnt take place unless there are two or more defenders online. For a system to be takesn a battle MUST take place. I can only see this to a fair way to solve the problem.

Im willing to go with the all freighters exluded from fighting deal. Will make things simpler. as for the single defender rule. I say a system can be invaded only two or more defenders are on line. if invasion takes place a defence must me mounted. If no defence mounted after a specific time like 30 mins or an Hour then the system is forfited to the invaders.

Time period is a suggestion to keep the fighting going. otherwise we could wait until no onw around and just walts in and claim the system. For a system to be taken it must be defended. if defenders are on line then they will be forced to defend it. If they choose not to. then no one will defend systems if it means they wont loose them due to not defending.
