Best place to find them is where they live. They have Bases in Hudson, Kepler and Colorado. I made the same mistake as you. I gave bribes to get equipment I wanted. Ended up as enemies of the ASF and CSF. Could not go to X-3043 without being attacked, and could not dock at Crossfire. Nasty when your carrying 130 Escape Pods!!!

Hey ChiefRedCloud, if you need a wingman while you sort out your rep, let me know. I cannot pvp (no experience, but working on it), but I can shoo those pesky flies away for you. Some questions for you! Have you double checked your firewall? Can you tell me what ports are open for FL? What firewall are you using? Have you installed any software since you last accessed an FL server? Are you getting any error messages when you boot your machine? Do you have ICQ or MSN or IRC software on your machine (in case we need to talk)? I may be being pig headed here, but I still think the problem lies with your firewall. Regards, JtaK

To Darkstalker: Crossfire is a modification to the Freelancer file set. It does not replace the main program for the game, nor does it add any new ones. Crossfire does not communicate to the outside world, and therefore does not need to pass through the firewall. This is all handled for it by freelancer.exe.
