well, with the 20-21 Mk XIV Phaser Arrays + 6 torpedos that are mentioned in the PDF, I wouldn't mind even this "almost triangluar" look of the tactical version looks more like an escort than a cruiser this way.the Yorktown class would seem to look the most "appropriate" imo.
