Todays Update of ED came together with a Driver(-Fix) for AMD. As I never had problems with FPS-drop in supercruise, I don't know if it fixes the problem. May be worth a try. (Running an AMD 7850 on Win7 here)

Just saw now that the AMD-Update was maybe a co-incidence? Both updates arrived at same time for me, so can't tell for sure if one triggered the other. But I know that FD was asking AMD since a longer time to investigate this problem, too... we'll see. I have both thumbs pressed that this FPS-drop disappears!
