I want to make sure everything is fine, is it normal that I start at level 14? There is no lead to the story, I just do missions and when i'll gain a level the story will start?

I wanted to play from scratch for sure..., it's just that after my first failed start, I clicked "open sp" by inadvertence since I can barely see the check mark. Yes, i'll look around a lot, it's hard to do otherwise with the kill engine function working so well... I tried to do a whole battle by killing the engines and just strafing and punching the afterburner now and then, and it worked perfectly. 5 hours running non stop and not a single random crash, i'm impressed by the stability and quality for such a big and complex mod.
