If are missing these files, something (very likely AV) deleted or quarantined them. Both .exe which was mentioned should be in game folder \Freelancer\EXE and also in \FLMM\mods\Freelancer 2 - Crossfire\EXE . It is only my guess, but there could be AV in action during mod download or when was mod installed.
