I think @Kermit refers to something like a 'personal garage' (aka station), where he can dock, drop equipment that will then be 'stored' there for outfitting another ship he docks with. ... as far as I remember, this suggestion/request is almost as old as CF itself and was always rejected due to impact on role-play and, what a MMO game is thought for, playing together and interact with other players. ... as needed for i.e. equipment/money transfer.
