DKs guns are still possible to get during Altair mission ... you can get 2 even earlier during campaign mission in Lost Paradise system.

I think saw something similar during closed beta test and it was corresponding with bonus mission taken later on second pause. After that was done change to code for this bonus mission. But it was more months ago, not remember details. I suggest do not continue atm with storyline, this what is on ss looks like a problem (if not asap, then later).
