  • Hi guys,Sorry, I'm new.I have installed the new CF2.0. Everything is installed and mod manager 3.1 shows the mod is activated. When I click to launch I get the launch screen but I don't progress any further. If I press single player or multiplayer I just hang there. The progress bar on the bottom does not move and the game doesn't start. I have read some of the other threads regarding the launch exe properties and I think everything is setup right. I must be missing something. Thanks
  • I have windows 7 64 bitmy security suite is bitdefenderI had no issues with 1.9I have attempted several times to re-install. I wipe the documents folder and everything. Clean install.
  • Are you talking about the drop down menu within mod manager 3.1? I did that and still sitting at launch screen with nothing happening. Not updating and not able to press single or multiplayer
  • Ok, I checked the freelance.exe file and I checked the freelancer.exe file in the mods/Crossfire 2.0 file. Neither one of these has read only checked. They never did.
  • Sorry for appearing stupid or something but we're not all techies!I downloaded 1.9 and got it to work no problem first time I tried. 2.0 on the other hand I've not been so lucky. Being a little more specific might help. You may think it's obvious but I do not. There is an EXE folder in Freelancer and within the crossfire folder within the mod folder. I have tried both.
  • Thanks for the reply. I did exactly what you said. It's not making any difference. I still can only get to the launch screen and then nothing updates other then the options to link to the forums and such. I still can't pick solo or multiplayer and nothing updates. Frustrating especially when it all worked so easily with 1.9. I did it all from a clean install. Wiped the documents folder and the files in regedit. Re-installed Freelancer, re-installed mod manager 3.1 and then crossfire 2.0. Went t…
