i wouldnt blantently say its the mod, OP knows his work. Since the number of people that have this is the minority and the majority is running fine then it is not due to the mod. It is either a hardware problem or the way your copy of the mod downloaded.

what kind of graphics are you running? i sometimes restart and lock up, not due to the mod, ever since i changed to a Nvidia graphics card.

you really might wanna see how your video card conflicts with your games....I have what your meaning...only its at random times, I have a e-GForce 6800 and yet after more memory, a new power supply, and redoing it twice it still locks up and reboots sometimes. Is freelancer the only game it does this?
