Evo Nomads Revenge COULD be good, but the servers that run it all seem to suck... Pretty interesting systems and ships with great weps but it has some Achilles heels' with poor balance: 1) Nomad stuff is so far advanced of any other that theres no way to defeat the player ships and weps in PVP ... And 3 of the servers i have tried all seem to only allow "the in crowd" to have them. Noob, imo.... a way for ppl with mediocre skills to dominate. 2) There are only 2 really competitive non-nomad VHF…

In DC electronics caps work as short-term "batteries" storing energy (their "Farad" rating relates to the amount of Coulombs of energy they hold), and although ive never seen the specs for shield caps (they are "classified"), i can imagine that their role is to help "hold up" the energy level ("voltage") of a shield longer than it would if it were not there at all. So the shield stays at 100% longer before beginning to drop when under attk.
