Can you give some more info about the crashes ?... any error reports or messages ? edit:Had just a quick check - connection without any problem, but after deconnecting an "EXE2" file in my /Microsoft Games/Freelancer file, that stayed there for some time. Perhaps check there. If there's an EXE2 file - just DELETE it and you should be fine.

This EXE2-folder is created by the launcher every time you start your Freelancer/Crossfire installation. USUALLY it will be deleted automatically after closing/exit Freelancer/Crossfire.For some unknown reasons sometimes it stays. Also sometimes for the same reasons it takes some time for Freelancer to do so.You might be able to see this in your lower windows tool bar, where the CF-icon might stay after you've closed Freelancer/Crossfire.
