This has also been addressed by op and he promises to get this problem (and others) fixed for the CF 1.51 mod. See the new thread he posted. Of course, his realistic bat/bot numbers may differ from what you or me would want, but at least they have to be less than what they were for SP in CF 1.5. ...in the mean time, I have to go and order more kittens!
