Hi, what you describe have all 'symptoms' for used 'OpenSP'. First you should not to use 'OpenSP' option in new launcher (never if you want play campaign). Second if you did this, mod reinstalling can be the best safe and working solution. Info how to properly reinstall CF mod is in FAQ here on portal.

You will need to replay whole last vanilla mission to be able start CF campaign (CF campaign starts automatically bcs is made as update for last vanilla mission). (You need to load last mission "mission save" which will use updated CF campaign script file)
