Two things from my side to the topic... You can make quite a good amount of dil when you got some kdf on your account. They get a lot of contraband for the marauding missions (e.g. disable <generic race> freighter, ransack colony, blockade, etc..) So when you focus on that you will need some security officiers but you can get around 10 contraband per kdf char easily. 5 contraband can be exchanged for 2k dil (doff mission 4h duration) at every security officer (found in any major location).
