Ahoy, i have my new PC up and running. I downloaded the game from scratch (although would have not been necessary). I installed the game and somehow i am not able to pass the autoupdate of the launcher. I nearly tried all. Deactivated the firewall, deactivate anti virus, run as admin, compatibily mode. Nothing works. Tried to search for that problem on the STO forums and tried that too. Even a VPN connection does not help.So actually i am asking myself what else do i need to do? I previously ha…

Ok seems i passed that problem and now am hanging in the patch process. Just hope this will finish anytime soon.I downloaded one of the provided updates of the launcher, although i have made this previously already. Probably they currently have some issues with their patch server (also because the patch download requires unusual ammount of times to proceed)

The thing is they have massive problems with patching. For no obvious reason it is not working, and a few minutes later its working. Unfortunate you find no real solution to it. From what i read we just can hope the devs there manage to find the reason and working on a solution. My conclusion: You have to try long enough
