I have two suggestions: Look into the racing events, No pvp involved. Just find the fastest route. Also smuggler hunt, but that can involve pvp (I always used my shroud LF and avoided being shot..) Middle of the night, when player count is low, is the best time to go hunting in the IC. They'll beat you up and teach you that you need to keep moving to advance.
