@OP ofc, never had that thought I was guessing that that the anti-cheat software took care of this and was pointing out that OS filter is better, as the software don't get "bothered" with DDoS packages I am going to implement this OS-policy on all my computers, to prevent future attacks -just saying. In the OSI model OS policy is layer-2 and application is layer-7. Its a big difference.
