  • Personally the cockpit layout/interface should be simple and functional (FL's interface is a good example of this) as most players will want to jump in and play without having to spend hours familiarizing themselves with over complex controls and displays. The view should be from the cockpit i.e. looking out through the screen/window it's simply more convincing this way (I found the 3rd person flight position in FL really difficult to fly with even though it had a better FOV).
