Hello Cordyceps, welcome here and in CF space. FYI in CF is more good enough ships for SP, you can prefer design or anything you like and still this will be OK for going through SP Campaign. However what you mentioned about torpedoes, missiles .... is one part in storyline where you could be happy for some heavy torps like Sunslayer Launcher. For ships ... maybe Predator or Shroud can be nice ship with good stats. Ofc are more nice ones, in CF is not The best ship.

I saw Butcher few times in action and it is good ship. If you do not need big cargo, then is it worth try.
