I thought about this years ago! The solution I came up with was.. It needs to be a perfect sphere on the inside, and it would need to be built around the light source. Such as a star. This would produce the energy/heat even after the star has expired, if the theory works. Note/theory: heat is a loss of energy. so it would fade in time.
