It took me a while to get used to the improved AI of Crossfire, but I found the fights a lot more entertaining. I did find the Nomads slightly easier... until I visited their home systems. Make sure you're well equipped before taking on the later enemies. A certain gunboat destroyed my brand new VHF with its first salvo!
