A fantastic Russian game with hilariously bad English translations. This game shares a lot in common with Freelancer actually. It is single player only and turn based, but don't let that turn you off. It has space battles, trading, arcade-style hyperspace battles, Starcraft-style RTS battles, FedEx missions, and my favorite, text quests.
