is the msinet.ocx file in the freelancer exe folder and have you tried to regsrv32 your msinet.ocx from this folder?Are you german native speaker?

I am not totally sure but i assume the file taken is the one from the exe folder. If you registered another one i would try to move the one from the exe folder to a different location or delete it. And try again.Else you need to unregister an existing file before you register a new one.

try both You can get rid of this file by moving it to another directory... if that doesnt work, copy it back to the exe folder and register this file.

as far as i know putting it to syswow64 is wrong, as you need the 32bit version of this file and you need to register the 32bit version too. Hence its recommended to use the one that is shipped with this mod.

well download the dependency walker and draw the msinet.ocx into that program and check whether some more dlls are missing. Eventually its more than just the msinet.ocx.
