did the installation or activation went without problems?I still assume that a dll is missing on youe side. You could try to figure that out using the dependency walker from m$ and open the freelancer.exe with dependency walker. Let us know if there are dlls missing

mpr.dll is not needed. If there is no other dll highlighted then its not a dll issue. As it crashes after the videos it might be a graphic card problem (just guessing as i also dont have a clue). Have you tried to activate with low res graphics?

Sorry if i ask again, you run did run the installation of crossfire. That installs the mod to the mod folder of flmm, you have a clean installation of freelancer (not a demo version) and the activation of crossfire 1.9 in flmm did run without any problems. If that all matches then i dont have a clue whats going on on your side. Should work then normally.
