  • Michael, thank you for your offer of help, but you cannot accurately use guns of different projectile speeds. Targetting is messed up. I have tried and tested this over 4 years. Conclusion = guns MUST have same projectile speed.Op - by what formula which makes Bullpup MkII which is bigger, faster than Redemption?

  • Huor - What is the difference in mass of a gun and a missile launcher ? So a ship with 2 cd/t should have more mass than a ship with 1 ??There are ships with 4 lvl 10, 2 lvl 9, 2 cd/t, m, cm which are MUCH faster than Redemption with only 1 cd/t, m, cm
  • @ Op - the programme I use combines many factors from the .ini files. The three figures I posted show speed and turning rate - generally speaking, the higher the first figure, the higher the speed of the ship, the second and third show turn rate, second should be low, third should be high. I can also read nudge force and strafe force. The Redemption was never top dog ship before I got it and use it's dynamics to make it so. I have never asked for a top dog ship, just one that is on a par with ot…

  • @ Op - it has been right and worked correctly on every mod I have played on, so why should it be wrong on this one ? Any inaccuracies on it are drawn from the mods .ini files, if those files are correct, the programme is correct. There are NO ships with 6 lvl 10 slots that have any performance now.Op has clearly stated that he will not change that and I cannot use a 4 + 2 if guns do not have same projectile speed - it DOES trash targetting.This is not my choice, but something that is forced upon me.I would just like to know how long it would take to change two gun mounts on 1 ship from lvl 9 to lvl 10 and how this would dramatically alter the balance on the m…

  • Riebens - Redemption dies very quickly in IC - too slow to manouver The whole point of this is that no player should be forced to fight in a particular way (guns/missiles) unless there is an extremely good reason. There is no good reason why no performance fighters are set up for 6 lvl 10 slots.This is just down to no choice.
