Crytek, creator of Far Cry, has announced a deal with EA which will see the German developer create an original PC game franchise for Electronic Arts. The new title will not be a Far Cry sequel, the original deal with Ubisoft was for just one title, while the plans for a Far Cry II, already hinted at by Crytek almost a year ago, may not be realized at all.
