I had freelancer with crossfire mod installed and running fine, but I wanted to explore some of the options that seem to only be alterable during the mod's initial activation. I deactivated the mod, uninstalled it, uninstalled FLMM and Freelancer (including the lingering Microsoft Games folder in My Programs), then reinstalled everything and activated the mod with the options I wanted.
