And this goes only in syswow64, correct? Added to syswow64, admin-cmd registered, same error. Think it hates me.

Sys32 is still there. No luck with it in either folder, registered one, tested, registered the other, and neither worked

Still the same. Tried it in all 3 locations and it just spits out the same error. What are the dependencies it's referring to?

Removes sys32 and sys64 ones, no effect.

I run freelancer as admin in xp sp3 compat, click off the "freelancer.exe wants to make changes to your computer" box then i get the "Component 'MSINET.Ocx' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" error

List above this shows "IESHIMS.DLL" cannot be found, gonna go hunt for it and see if it helps

Victory! Copied the .dll from IE to freelancer\exe, unregistered, then reregistered the .ocx and I'm at the launcher... ...and I'm ingame. Thanks for your patience guys, really appreciate it.
